Science fiction
Christian Cantrell

This science fiction thriller was a quick read but engaging and left me hoping for more. The Earth begins cooling, forcing the entire world population to migrate to the equator where there is a thin band of remaining habitable space.

The Russians, Chinese and Americans establish themselves as the three primary world powers – each looking for an advantage that will position them to have ownership of the world’s quickly depleting resources. The Americans pressure a Brazilian-born roboticist to create an army of ASRAs – Autonomous Self Replicating Asset. Each ASRA has what is called a “brainbox” that gives robots the ability to logic and reason on their own – soon learning to the demise of humanity.
